Abstract
Recent research has emphasized dynamic capabilities (DCs) and their impact on firm performance. However, research on DCs within firm internationalization; in particular within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) context along with conducting empirical studies is still striking. This study intended to investigate the impact of DCs namely, sensing, networking and reconfiguring capabilities on SMEs internationalization process. The study employed a survey instrument for a sample consists of 300 SME owners/managers in Malaysia who are involved in international market. The findings showed that DCs have a significant positive relationship with SME internationalization. Concluding remarks and suggested ideas for further research are discussed.
