Abstract
To the Editor,
Research is important for the advancement of pharmacy practice. It strengthens pharmacist-provided services, builds the evidence base for developing and commissioning new services, improves patient care and contributes to health service knowledge.1 Additionally, the importance and benefits of incorporating ‘stakeholders’ into research from beginning to end have been increasingly recognised. Australian pharmacists should therefore consider the benefits of incorporating research into their current pharmacy practice.
