Abstract
This paper sets out an interpretation of problems related to collective identities and sense of belonging at schools. It is based on theoretical reflections and the preliminary findings and analysis carried out as part of a research project on the construction of collective identities at Argentinian schools with different geographical, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
