Hydrogen storage properties of new ternary alloys: PrMg2Ni9 and PrMgNi4

The hydrogen storage properties of the new ternary alloys, PrMg 2 Ni 9 and PrMgNi 4 , were investigated. The electrode properties of REMgNi 4 alloys were measured by means of simulated battery test. The results indicate that all the negative electrodes of the alloys showed a good cycle life, and the amorphous PrMgNi 4 has a good discharge capacity.
