Abstract

We specualted that Roux-en-Y cholecysto-colonic diversion was as effective for treating children with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC) as partial biliary diversion. The feasibility of the novel approach in bypassing bile was investigated in rabbits.
