Abstract

Health literacy plays a role in the way individuals find and understand health information and manage their health. While it is likely health literacy influences the uptake of calcium recommendations, associations between health literacy and dietary calcium are currently unknown. We aimed to explore associations between health literacy and dietary calcium intakes in a population based sample of women.
