Abstract

Miniaturized and wearable sensor nodes are required to form a wireless body area network (WBAN) to monitor physiological parameters from human bodies. In this part of the book, we will present the existing hardware solutions to realize a small wireless sensor for use in WBAN applications. Implementation issues are discussed, and details of techniques for the design of wireless sensors inWBAN applications are presented.
