Abstract
Infantile eczema, or atopic dermatitis (AD), is a prevalent inflammatory skin condition characterized by lesions and itching that impairs the quality of life for both infants and their families. In recent years, a growing body of research has turned its focus to the potential links between the gut microbiome and its impact on skin conditions. This study aims to provide insights into the relationship between the gut microbiome and AD, thus, offering potential insights into the clinical prevention and treatment of AD in infants.
