Graphene for durable corrosion resistance: current status and challenges

Abstract

Ultra-Thin graphene coatings on metals have been shown to improve their corrosion resistance by nearly orders of magnitude. This presentation will provide an overview of graphene as a corrosion-protecting coating, identifies potential and presents some new data to suggest graphene as durable corrosion-resistant coating.
