    Abstract

Over the course of many years at Annual and International NACADA conferences panels of representatives from many countries have discussed 'Global Issues' in advising. This edition of the panel will synthesize thee issues into a broader reflection on the role of academic advising across many cultural settings. The focus will be on student success, the core concept in NACADA's mission and the core Values of Academic Advising as formulated by NACADA. A reflection on the stories and experiences we have been sharing within the global community for Academic Advising will lead to profound discussion of the very ideas that support and guide us in our work.
