Gender differences in fashion consciousness among Malaysia youth

Abstract

This study examined gender differences in fashion consciousness among youth in
Malaysia. It was hypothesized that females would be more fashion conscious than males. A total of 444 university students voluntarily participated in the study. The results of this study showed that males were more fashion conscious than females. Implications, limitations and directions for future research are also provided.
