Abstract

Previous reports have noted an association between membranous nephropathy and focal segmental glomerulosclerosiswithGuillaina??Barre syndrome.Wereport a case of Campylobacter enteritis, which was complicated by both focal segmental glomerulosclerosis of the collapsing variety and Guillaina??Barre syndrome, and propose that Campylobacter may be the common link between the glomerular disease and Guillaina??Barre syndrome. We also briefly review previous reports of kidney disease associated with Campylobacter infection.
