Abstract
Finite elements calculations for the elastic moduli of a face centred cubic stacking of hollow spheres is performed for a range of geometrical parameters describing the hollow spheres and their joining menisci. The material is expected to be slightly elastically anisotropic and to exhibit an auxetic behaviour. A polynomial expression for the elastic moduli is provided.
