Fabrication and spectroscopic assessment of glass-based sub-wavelength structures for hybrid 1-D dielectric 633-nm laser microcavity

Abstract

A low-loss 20-micron thickness 1-D multilayer dielectric microcavity constituted by PMMA polymer matrix containing CdSe@ZnS quantum dots was fabricated by a hybrid radiofrequency-sputtering/sol-gel deposition process. Emission enhancement at 633-nm wavelength has been observed.
