Abstract

Visual motion processing is critical for diverse tasks such as judging the speed and direction of objects, and predicting trajectories in order to intercept or avoid moving objects. Here we explore how visual motion processing varies throughout the cortical motion processing pathway, focusing on physiological mechanisms related to perception and the control of eye movements in non-human primates.
