Abstract

Simple and cost-effective DMT transmission in combination with shared coherent detection is proposed for evolutionary flexgrid metro/regional networks. Network testbed experiments show successful lOGb/s connections from MTUs to the sliceable transceiver at the virtual BRAS farm, covering up to 150km.
