Abstract

This work proposes a methodology for estimating human intent during human-robot interaction (HRI). The intent signal is used within a planning and control strategy to improve safety and intuitiveness of the interaction. A method for estimating intent using physiological signals is described and preliminary test results are presented. A companion paper describes the planning and control
strategy
