Abstract

The combination of the Eigenbeamforming with the STBC Alamouti transmisson scheme with polarizaion diversity is discussed. The beam-pattern formed is environment-oriented. The advantages of the proposal includes the increase in system capacity with the number of antennas at the base station alongwith compact installation at MS. The study of the model reveal that direction finding can be possible in MIMO communication scenarios.
