Abstract

Equivalent circuit of an electromagnetically coupled (EMC) rectangular patch antenna is obtained using reciprocity. Theoretical results for the return loss are in good agreement with the experimental data. The model is simple both conceptually and computationally, and can be used to predict the performance of EMC antennas.
