Abstract

1. 1. The marsupials Wallabia bicolor and Vombatus ursinus possess a testis specific LDH which can be classified kinetically as LDHX. 2. 2. Spermatogenically active testes of platypus and echidna do not contain a testis specific LDH, and in each species only the LDH5 complex is present.
