Abstract
High Reynolds number flows over a flat semi infinite plate with rectangular leading edge are described by the two dimensional inviscid incompressible flow equations. These equations are solved numerically using a discrete vortex model. As a refinement to previous models of this type a fluctuating irrotational field is added. (from authors' abstract)
