Abstract

Electroanalytical studies of cobalt, nickel and iron in a ZrF₄{single bond}BaF₂{single bond}LaF₃{single bond}AlF₃{single bond}NaF melt at 500°C show that these transition metals can be determined both qualitatively and quantitatively in fluoride melts. This paper presents a preliminary investigation of cyclic voltammetry, linear scan voltammetry, linear scan anodic stripping and differential pulse voltammetry of these ions in fluoride melts.
