Abstract

The characterization of receptor binding kinetics of preclinical drug candidates is now becoming more readily appreciated as a key addition to the discovery process. Benefits of studying kinetics include increased understanding of prolonged duration of action, ability to differentiate between different pre-clinical candidates and in the understanding of differential in vivo efficacies.
