Abstract

In this paper the detected signal of a chipless RFID tag in motion is analysed. The decoding of the tag frequency ID is performed by applying the adaptive wavelet based detection algorithm. The detection error rate is analysed in simulation in Matlab by applying coloured noise. These results are compared with the experimental results observed at different distances from the receiver antenna while moving the tag in vertical stepped movement. This helps to improve the sensitivity of the reader in development for the detection of chipless RFID tags in motion.
