Abstract
A case of dermatomyositis associated with clinical and pathological features of platelet mediated digital and ocular ischemia is described. The administration of corticosteroid and immunosuppressive therapy did not control the dermatomyositis, but the addition of antiplatelet drug to the treatment regimen was associated with a dramatic improvement in both disorders.
