Abstract

A Data Protection Management System (DPMS) is a framework designed to help organizations establish and maintain an effective data protection system. It emphasizes the critical role of policies, processes, and people in building a robust DPMS. To create a DPMS, organizations must first establish a culture of data protection and craft a comprehensive policy that incorporates legal and regulatory requirements. Once the policy is in place, the discussion should involve processes to ensure perfect workflow and adherence to data protection requirements. The third pillar of data protection revolves around educating employees to mitigate vulnerabilities. Training is highlighted as a key element of DPMS, strengthening cybersecurity defenses, and fostering a shared commitment to best practices.
