Abstract
The possible occurrence of epileptic seizures (ESs) and their clinical and prognostic features were assessed in a cohort of 720 consecutive multiple sclerosis (MS) patients referred to our MS centre. Demographics and MS Severity Scores (MSSS) were compared in patients with (ES/MS: n = 32, 4,4%) or without (MS) seizures. ESs resulted to occur mostly in females and to be associated with a more favourable course of MS.
