Abstract

The Aim of the project is the study of the brittle structures in rock slopes for stability evaluation of rocky slopes by deterministic approach. This is done through the application of Photogrammetry techniques for detailed survey of jointing systems and versant geometry. The digital terrestrial Photogrammetry is a technique that can be used for a detailed survey especially in hardly accessible sites and from it oriented stereoimages, accurate digital elevation models and orthophotos can be created; then, it can be used as data source for studying the rocky slope stability both by Conventional and Numerical Methods.
