Abstract

The dynamic control model for access and service rate is considered for data transmission systems with active users. The novelty of the problem statement is that the random input flow is determined by active behavior of users, who choose the sending rate by taking into account their own utility functions and the cost of service. The problem has been solved with the aid of stochastic control of Markov chains. The results are illustrated by numerical examples.
