The narrative of diversity runs through this book. It is the issue at the heart of the theme of the collection, but also reflected in who is tackling that theme and how they are doing it. In so doing, we indicate where the next steps may be for research, practice and policy in the field of access and equity in post-secondary education at the global level. We identify three major points emerging from the book.
