Abstract

Interaction of the metal centers in heterobimetallic complexes can lead to unusual catalytic properties. Complex 1, however, lacks the prerequisites for such interaction since the metal centers are separated by 5.01 Å. The title reaction results in no essential change in the coordination of either Yb or Pt (L  Ph₂PC₅H₄). (Figure Presented.)
