N2 - The goal of this study was to investigate the use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies and products by people in Australia with type 2 diabetes or cardiovascular disease (CVD). Design: The study had a mixed methods design that used in-depth interviews (n = 69), in 2009, and a self-administered survey (n = 2915) that was completed via the internet or by post office mail in 2010.
