Abstract
Findings from Churchill Fellowship to study European percussion music creation, performance, pedagogy and research in Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The nine week Fellowship program included engagement with leading artists, teachers and scholars in the field, offering a variety of perspectives, including mentorships from esteemed artist-pedagogues, attending and delivering performances, masterclasses and research presentations, observing teaching and exhibitions and formal and informal meetings at universities, artist studios and events.
