The research has resulted in a digital archive of design and innovation from Melbourne Victoria with attention to the fact that the work has endured and had impact. The research covers the period from the 1850s to 2015 and examines the impact of industrial designers in Melbourne during this period. The project also explores modes of exhibition and curatorial practice with the use of mobile wifi devices and low energy Bluetooth technologies. An original app was also developed specifically for the Apple Watch. The invitation from the Lord Mayor of Milan and the projects inclusion in the Expo in Citta program as part of the City of Melbourne’s and Australia’s sole contribution to ExpoMilan2015 provided a global audience for the exhibition. The exhibition was broadly covered by international design press and National Italian media with a report to the City of Melbourne documenting $30,000.00 in media coverage. The Digital Archive and catalogue document a large number of products designed in Melbourne not previously photographed or documented. The use of Bluetooth beacons in the format adopted for BlackBOX and the BlackBOX app developed for the Apple watch were original and novel outcomes.",
