Abstract

The expansion of available communications technologies has increased the accessibility of many mental health services that were previously inhibited by distance, availability, cost, or health concerns. This chapter reviews the evidence supporting the delivery of virtual mental health services by school psychologists. The chapter then provides practical guidance on how to adapt in-person therapeutic services to virtual individual, group, and consultative services, with considerations for equity and access.
