Asking visitors to become active in conservation. How many requests are too many?

Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned ReportResearch

Abstract

The research project set out to determine the threshold where visitors felt they were being asked too often to engage in pro-wildlife behaviours. The assumed consequence of being asked too many times was that visitors experiences would be negatively affected. The results presented here are visitors real or perceived thresholds for the number of requests. A second aim of the research was to explore visitors ideas on how behaviours ought to be requested
