Hansen’s disease has been described in patients with chronic kidney disease and different modalities of renal replacement therapy have been performed with varying results. We describe successful automated peritoneal dialysis on a patient with Hansen’s disease. An arterio-venous fistula creation and preservation with upper limb skin involvement and sensory loss made hemodialysis less advantageous. Transplantation, though possible, has been deferred till ulcers causing recurrent cellulites have been healed.
