Abstract
Anisotropy of mechanical properties in a high strength 7010 aluminium alloy has been studied. Microstructure characterisations have shown that the grains are elongated in the rolling direction, exhibiting a morphological texture is associated with a crystallographic texture. In order to determine the influence of these two parameters on anisotropy, we have developed an elastoplastic selfconsistent simulation. The results of simulation are compared with those obtained in tensile test.
