Abstract
As one of the important metallic product used in civil aviation industry, aluminum alloy casting is well discussed. Compared with wrought products, the advantages of aluminum alloy casting enable the structure design of aircraft much more efficient on the weight and cost saving, while its disadvantages restrain the application from spreading into conditions that high strength is required. However, with the development of casting as well as the new metallic forming technics, there must more options of materials for the future aircraft structure manufacturing.
