Abstract
This essay offers a critical reflection of the feminist-postcolonial methodology (theoretical framework) and method (implementation) of my research which is concerned with the nature and degree to which cultures and religions impact on the theorizing and practice of women's human rights in Malaysia and the wider implications that this has for the global women's movement.
