Abstract

Alzheimer's disease remains a major therapeutic challenge despite a massive research effort over the past two decades. Applying quantitative mechanistic approaches to understanding the quantities and rates of Aβ amyloid production, accumulation and clearance may provide novel and more rigorous insights into developing rational therapeutic strategies.
