Abstract

In this paper, a new adaptive switching control scheme is presented to solve the control and synchronization problems. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive control law is applied to globally stabilizing a nonlinear system and achieving state synchronization of two identical nonlinear systems. The simulation results are given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method for chaotic systems.
