A simulation study of terahertz dielectric resonator using graphitic carbon nitride

Abstract

A novel Graphitic Carbon Nitride (gCN) resonator was simulated using CST Microwave Studio. Rectangular and cylindrical resonators on quartz substrate were simulated over the frequency range, 0.4-2.75 THz. We further study the near field distribution of electric and magnetic field vectors to understand the spectral phenomena.
