Two related texts were delivered on consecutive days, drawing out the importance of a plaque commemorating Gough Whitlam launching the Library on the Caulfield Campus in 1974, a plaque once installed on the library{\textquoteright}s exterior, but subsequently removed. This work addressed the ways spoken words and written words relate, and the histories of education the missing plaque implicitly prompts for us. The work{\textquoteright}s innovations lie in a way to stage forms that are “counter-monumental”, that imply different paradigms for acts of commemoration and imagination. ; On Campus ; Conference date: 14-02-2017 Through 15-02-2017",
