Abstract
People in rural areas have reduced access to health services, including pharmacy. A third of Australians live outside of capital cities, and they have poorer health outcomes than their metropolitan counterparts. Like other health services, there is also often limited access to funded pharmacist services in the bush. Pharmacists are the most accessible health profession, and have a great potential to deliver health promotion and interventions to make a difference to this rural‑urban health inequity
