Abstract

The compressive deformation behavior of Fe-25Al and Fe-25Al-10Ti was studied in the range of strain rate (4.2 × 10-5-1.4 × 10-3s-1) and temperature (873-1273 K). It was found that Ti addition tend to reduce the strain rate sensitivity and activation energy for flow deformation of Fe-25Al alloy.
