A class of function spaces and its application in solving second-order nonlinear differential equations

Abstract

In this paper, we prove an existence theorem for time global monotone positive solutions of nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equations by applying the SchauderTikhonov fixed point theorem. This result generalizes the result of existence on a half-line given in Yin (2003) [8].
