Abstract
Case study research has been criticized for years on the grounds that its findings are not generalizeble. Generalization is a crucial concept in all research designed to produce applicable knowledge, The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the process of generalizability of one case study that examined two pedagogies and their impact on students' intellectual abilities. The article describes the case, the role of the researchers and the methodological decisions made, and derives three principles related to case study generalization.
