What the profession needs now for the future

The Monash team will work in partnership with the Australian Education Union (AEU) Victoria to meet the research project aims of generating opportunities for AEU Victoria members to further articulate the issues they confront and the means by which they can be addressed. The Monash team will specifically undertake a high-level literature review, a desktop review of relevant teaching workforce circumstances in other jurisdictions and the analysis of data from a survey of AEU members.
Findings will be reported in three short discussion papers and one final summative report. These four deliverables will be written by the Monash team in consultation with AEU Victoria, through a drafting process. Other summaries of information from extra sources will be incorporated into these deliverables if possible. These will be provided to the Monash team by the AEU (Vic) (i.e., economic analysis, market research and member feedback).
