Project Description

In 2021, the Department of Health, QEC and Monash University partnered with Early Parenting Centres (EPC) across Victoria in the development of the Victorian Early Parenting Centre Outcomes Framework, to:
I. Develop an outcomes framework to measure the impact of the work of Victorian Early Parenting Centres
II. Develop a roadmap to embed implementation science around the outcomes framework - to ensure an effective and sustainable model
III. Increase capacity across the sector in building implementation science and outcome measurements.
The Victorian Early Parenting Centre Outcomes Framework was completed in June 2022.
2. Victorian EPC Outcomes Framework Implementation Project - Aim
Timely, supported implementation of the Framework across the three existing Early Parenting Centres will enable the framework to improve outcomes in a tangible, measurable way by:
 Becoming embedded in organisational, and sector wide processes and policies
 Promoting evidence-based practice to ensure positive change for children and their families
 Supporting consistent, sector wide data collection methods
 Evaluating implementation to inform the rollout across the new EPC providers.
